Urban Development Analysis

A comprehensive analysis of urban growth patterns and land use changes in metropolitan areas over the past decade. This project combines satellite imagery, census data, and zoning information to visualize how cities are evolving.

Methodology

This project utilized Landsat imagery from 2010-2023, combined with census data and municipal zoning records. Change detection algorithms were applied to identify areas of significant urban expansion, and spatial statistics were used to quantify the patterns of growth.
